Excerpt: "Thunder," Torna growled. This was not the first time she had found evidence that someone had disturbed their left over kills.
Thunder nodded.
"Keep everyone here," Torna's order was silent. She moved away wordlessly to figure out what it was that stalked the pack. They were smart, washing the scent of out their fur and off their paws. Perhaps rolling in the scent of the pack to keep from standing out; making him or her nearly undetectable.
Torna moved swiftly, but made sure to listen to the sound of the forest as is sensed her presence. Torna knew a wolf like this wasn't going to move along the main trail, and he or she was most likely going to be impossible to spot in the shadows of the lesser used trails. She listened not for his footsteps, but the sound of a quiet spot in the forest. Somewhere a cricket was silent, or bird alerted for no other apparent reason then herself.
After moving quite a ways Torna took a deep breath. A general scent of nearby packs filled her nose. She wouldn't find her stalker just yet. But she knew the scent of the wolves in this area, and she'd compare it each time until she pick out their scent in the middle of her pack.
"You can hide from a Tornado," Torna told Flyingjay aloud, "But you can't run fast enough." She was confident she'd find him yet.
This expert is more or less his back story. She did find him one day, and instead of killing the trespasser as most alpha would, she offered him her pack's Delta Scout position.
